Surface mapping using single lense video cam

Hi.

I got a case with filling mass (kvarts stone) in to a silo;

The silo is fed from a moving convayerbelt running on one axis, through the center, above the silo. I want to minimize the drop height (from convayor to top(peak) of the mass) to minimize damage to the kvarts.(wich is very porous). Today there are installed a standard one lence 1080p color survaillence camera, and the optimum convayer position is determined manually by a operator.

Do you guys know if there is possibility to extract coordinates of the mass peaks through the 2d video available? Or can it be realized by implementing more cameras? Do you have any FAQs on the subject?

Silo dimensions; D20xW20xH30m, mass height ca 35m determined by angle of repose.

Thank you for reading and please ignore my bad english.
