applying wind blown effect to the face in the image
Hi! I do not have a background in image processing. I am trying to create a free open source app in which a user takes a photo of himself, and the app applies wind blown effect to his face. i wish to develop for both ios and android, and have this image processing for face recognition and subsequent application of this effect, on the server side, which the client side app will communicate with. I want to use Open CV for face detection in the image. How do I go about it? Also, as shown in the pictures above, is it possible to apply the wind blown effect to the face using open CV itself, or I could make use of any other open source or closed source API to get this effect?
The guy who made those pics you are linking to is an artist, and have done it manually, in Photoshop, probably with a great amount of work and talent.
