| 2013-10-10 15:49:16 -0600 | asked a question | Cannot read from USB webcam on Windows Seems related to http://answers.opencv.org/question/16326/webcam-wont-open-since-246/ however, the difference is that I can open the USB webcam, but receive an error 'Assertion failed (size.width>0 && size.height>0) in imshow...'. Interestingly enough, connected DV (FireWire) cameras work fine. Downgraded to 2.4.5 from 2.4.6 (platform is Windows) and USB once again works. Is there a solution to this? I've seen chatter about solutions to a similar problem in Linux... EDIT: Both versions in question were installed using the pre-built libraries. |
