| 2014-10-03 09:45:40 -0600 | asked a question | Automation of image cropping I am newbie to the world of OpenCV and computer vision and would like to know if it is possible to slice an image like the example one into valid parts. Where to look for? I've tried a bunch examples from https://github.com/ruby-opencv/ruby-opencv/tree/master/examples but they doesn't make me happy. Sorry if my Q is ugly or inappropriate. If this problem is too complex to receive 80% of images, then I'd like to know if it is possible to place some control points manually and use OpenCV to correct the contours. Any how too? Example:
