cvLoad/cvSave corrupted data

Hello Community,

I use cvSave/cvSaveImage to save xml data respectively images to the HDD.

However from time to time the saved images or the saved xml data are saved not proper. For example not all pixel values are saved in the xml or the saved image could be oppend even with other programs (Paint, etc). Sometimes the closing root node is missing.

Have anybody any idea what can cause such errors?

I use OpenCV 2.4 on a Win7 64 bit workstation.

Thanks for helping in advance.
