I have down loaded the beta and standard versions twice each and get the following message each time.

bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly; perhaps it is corrupted? Possible reason follows. bzip2: Inappropriate ioctl for device Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted. You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover data from undamaged sections of corrupted files. Unexpected EOF in archive Error is not recoverable: exiting now

what am i doing wrong . Using Centos 6.3 for 64 bit machine.

It looks like your downloads were not finished correctly. What address do you use to download the archives? There is official OpenCV download page on SourceForge.
