I would like to save a file in a jp2 format, but I would like to use different compression rate. What parameters I can set when I use imwrite or imencode to get a jp2 (jpeg 2000) format?

Is there another way to encode an image into a jp2 format and to be able to set the compression rate? Or is there any plan to add parameters for encoding into jp2 format? Thank you.

unfortunately, it's not possible, there are no params to set for this.
