I am using openCV 2.3.1 since last 1 month and have made many projects with it in C LANGUAGE. I recently got to know that openCV 2.4.3 has already defined advanced data classes like BackgroundSubtractorMOG2(which uses Gaussian Mixture-based Background/Foreground Segmentation Algorithm) and many more. So, i want to shift to openCV 2.4.3 but i have one fear whether my earlier project source codes written in C LANGUAGE would still work or not? If not, what changes i have to do with those codes to make them run under openCV 2.4.3 ? Thanks in advance..

Old OpenCV 1.x C style API is fully supported by new versions of OpenCV. So you can port you project on new version of OpenCV without serious problems. But OpenCV 1.x C API is deprecated and can be removed in future releases.
