image stitching: Full View Panoramic Image

asked 2014-05-09 12:17:06 -0600

Hey,

I am trying to make a full view panoramic image stiching application with the opencv stiching pipeline. Currently I take the rotation and the images from my smartphone to stich the images together. This works :) But now I want to extend the algorithm, the goal is to generate an output image with a fixed resolution for example 4096x2048. The areas where are no images available should be black. But I have no Idea how I can set the resolution and that this resolution represents the full image sphere. Any ideas how i can do this?

Thanks nikolausi

Hi

For implementing do we need to use opencv_contrib ?

I am facing challenges in configuring the opencv_contrib with opencv using CMake.

Can you please give the steps to configure the both.

Thanks Selvam
