I got a panorama image exported from a Ladybug 5 stream file with the LadybugCapPro application. The image shows a black part at the bottom, where the cameras were located.

Is it possible to remove that part?

I'm a newbie in the computer vision world, so it would be great if someone could point me to the right direction (if it's possible what I'm trying to do).

The original image is way bigger than this, but for showing the black part I think this would serve well.

Is the black part changing in size or is it constant?

It can be varied, And in the above image you need to crop or warp to fit to black region?.

@Haris, the link you posted seems useful. I'll take a look at it now! And in the above image, either way is fine. I have no requirements on that topic.

Ok, the link explaining how to fill the black region either using inpaint or using perspective transform.

@Haris, thanks for the link. It worked fine! If you post it as an answer I'll accept it! Another question that came into my mind when doing this. Is it possible to "change" the projection of an image? For example, transforming my example image to obtain a straight panorama , without the curved effect, showing the same extension of image.

Can you post the original panorama image?

The original image is exactly like the example one. The difference is in the size: the example one has a size of 1024x512 px while the original one has a size of 8000x4000 px. Should I post it anyway?

Ok so your source image look like above, I thought it was 360 degree panoramic image like this.

Nope. I have available either the type posted here or the 6 images of a cube map.

Scan first row of you image when pixel value is 0 i.e. black and then take above part from that row as region of interest and so your final output. I hope it will help you!!
