help building convert_cascade

I'm trying to build convert_cascade using eclipse on Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks). I have opencv 2.4.8_2 installed. I have tried to follow the directions to install as found here: http://docs.opencv.org/doc/tutorials/introduction/table_of_content_introduction/table_of_content_introduction.html but there doesn't seem to be a Mac Os specific instruction. By doing the instructions for Linux, I have managed to created the C Project, but with many errors - please see link to file showing the problems here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9e4828o87ncg1vk/eclipse_settings.pdf

Any help please?
