Hello, I'm having some problems with the installation of open cv 2.4.2. In the installation guide it says I must choose from different builds but i can't find them on the website they refer to. (http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary/files/opencv-win/). so i am a bit confused about how i should install open cv. Can you help please?

Hi! I'm suggesting to you download current version of OpenCV, it's in .exe file in folder 2.4.2.

When you've installed it, go to build folder (/opencv/build). Here you can find folders with pre-built libs. Choose folder name, according your configuration (e.g. vc10 - Visual Studio 2010, x86 - win 32 bit and project type). Also, you can check this answer.

P.S. Installation Guide told about different builds, because in previous OpenCV versions were one or two executables, each supported some different features, like gpu or VS 2010. But now (in 2.4.2) you have one .exe with multiple configuration in it. After installation, you can specify which features to be used by choosing libs from right folder.
