opencv_traincascade bahavior

hi i m trying to detect digit "8" among other digits. i use opencv_traincascade as in image attached.my negative samples are digits resize to 30*61 and they only contain one digit. my vec has 319(numpos 250) elements and i have 1200 negative samples(numneg 120). i use LBP but it takes a day and it seems there is no progress. it hasnt complete stage 1 yet i want to know is it normal? if not do you have any advice? (negative and positive samples are digits in their bounding rect)
