Hi all,

I want to work on multiple object detection based on color. Raspberry pi 3A+ and B+ have same cpu but 3A+ have 512 mb ram, 3B+ have 1 gb ram. I want to detect objects based on color and run a multiple servo motor in a specified state. Also I do this in realtime. if someone used raspberry and the camera like that, tell me any information you can give. I need the most cheap hardware for to do this.

The Raspberry Pi hardware is strong enough to do real time color based object tracking.

However AFAIK it can control only one servo (one PWM generator for the GPIO). You can also connect a microcontroller (Arduino) for servo control.

Check also some dedicated machine vision hardware like OpenMV, it can be a good solution for your project.

Thank you for the answer, I have to say that my objects goes fast on the camera, and theyre multiple, camera will see 20-30 object at the same time but resolution not a problem for me. Maybe 30 fps is not enough for this i dont know. Openmv is good but my project have to be very cheap. I can connect an arduino, its not a problem i have that. If the ram is not a problem for this, I will be buy 3a+.

Well, OpenMV is not cheap, but if you add the raspberry pi, the camera and the arduino, the price will be close.

That said, I can recommend the Rasp, itxs widely used, but I don't know more than the spec sheet about the OpenMV board.
