Visual system for Alignment (less than 0.1mm accuracy) [closed]

Hi all,

I wonder if the library have a capacity for edge finding and picture comparison to find a part being misaligned by let say around 0.1mm on X and Z axis displacement.

It's down to Camera specifications in greater sense, however I wonder if I could process very high quality images to process pixel to mm scale?

not at all an opencv library problem.

it all depends on the hardware (camera / optics)
