I just came across CVAT. I was thinking of writing a similar tool myself, but CVAT seems to address most of my needs, but one - I would like to use it on Windows 10. Can anyone help me here?

Hmm i would reduce the hassle and make a dual boot ubuntu 18.04, which literally takes 5 minutes to install. It might seem difficult in the beginning, but it isn't :)

Hi,

You can install docker on Windows and use Windows subsystem for Linux (WSL) to build the docker image and run. Before the answer I successfully did that:

A very nice article how to install docker on Windows: https://nickjanetakis.com/blog/settin...

I used Ubuntu 18.04 from Windows store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/ubu...

In my case I was behind a proxy thus some extra steps were necessary to make. But finally it works. Enough!

P.S. Next time please post your questions directly here: https://github.com/opencv/cvat/issues. Primary developers don't monitor the Q&A forum. If you like the tool please don't hesitate to star it!

Thanks for the head up, that being said, the Q&A is officially supported by OpenCV. So in my honest opinion its wrong to tell people not to use it anymore :D
