Different category of the same object recognition

Hello, I am writing here after a lot of research in interet without any success. I am looking for a way to recognize very similar object to each other distinguishing them. For example I'd like to identify different kind of handmade pots creating a pattern witch can help me to recognize the category who the pot belongs. There is an other problem. Several of this pots are broken so I need to recognize just a part of them. Sometimes I have just the foot or sometimes i've got just the head.

So I need a function lets me create a landmark pattern (like face landmark) to identify the objects.

Could you tell me the right way to built it?

I just need the right approach to start. Thanks a lot
