Hello, I have very little time working with OpenCV, so far only a few basic exercises could make up to detect objects with my web cam on a static background. Now I doubt has arisen. Is there a basic code sample or to detect objects on a moving background? o discriminate this background it is not static but is almost uniform in color and so detect a moving object with a moving background?

Thanks for everything, and a greeting. Emilio.

What type of objects are we talking about? Is there a library or do we have to build object models on the fly? Is there good contrast between objects and background? When you say that the background is changing, does it have about similar intensity all the time or does the intensity vary a lot? How big are the objects to be tracked relative to the frame?

Based on an answer to the above questions, you should be able to pick different algorithms to detect objects.
