Forum issue - How to only answer questions?

Hi everybody, It seems that according to my initial karma rank I can't answer questions. However, I had some answers, along the past few months, to questions I stumbled upon in a google search. Is there a way to start answering without asking a question first? Thanks!

You don't need karma points to answer questions or to accept answers. You need some karma to add comments, vote or close questions. More in the FAQ (Step 1).

@sagiz , this is admittedly a somewhat silly restriction, since we already have moderation in place (spam problem).

unfortunately, there's no easy, official way to tweak the karma rules for the forum software.
