Hey there boys and girls!

I'm kind of new to programming business. I am trying to instal OpenCV-Python from source (via http://docs.opencv.org/3.1.0/d5/de5/t... tutorial). At the moment i am stucked at point after 7d.(after i click finish). The error looks like this:image description(/upfiles/14767981729825897.png) . I'm trying to get this installed on a windows10. I've done every step from the tutorial.

Do you have any idea what would be wrong?

Thanks, Minu

What is the C and CXX compiler identification number identified by the cmake-gui? Secondly, have you launched the Visual Studio 11 2012 even once after you installed it. If not, do it and then go to step 7.

does not solve the problem of building opencv via cmake

cmake is good, but realy hard use under windows, in face, any GNU-syle tools all hard under windows; so if u goal just install one opencv env. base like python(x,y) pre-complied install packet, is one good choice;-)

it's nice, that you're trying to help, but please read the question again, it is about building from src (which is nessecary, if you need e.g. opencv_contrib, or a bugfix added later than the release)

OK,all right. cmake is complicated in windows. If your goal just install opencv, there many other choice.
