Hi, I just meet the same problem on my Phenom II 1055T host, it seems this error only happens on AMD CPUs. BTW, which template are you using, the problem disappears when changing to haarcascade_frontalface_alt2.xml. But i still think it a bug in OpenCV, which needs fix!
