Is it possible to track a tennis match in real time?
- understand that the ball is going back and forth
- estimate the distance between the players
- detect a racket/ball hit
- estimate the average speed of the ball
- detect floor collisions inside/outside the court
- ...
Then interpret all this information and show to the public in a big screen in real time.
If this is not possible, how far are we from that?
Can we introduce some restrictions to make it work somehow, e.g., smaller court, bigger ball, etc.?
