Hi, I'm trying to use standard classifiers for Russian reg plates (haarcascade_licence_plate_rus_16stages.xml and haarcascade_russian_plate_number.xml) and they seems not to work well. Is there any extended information on them like, what is the minimum size a plate need to have to be recognizable? How many train data was used? How good would you rate these classifiers? Are they ready to work out of the box or they are meant for education only?
