Hi,

I was hoping that OpenCV will use OpenCL backends on Android until Google announce it will drop and block OpenCL in favor of RenderScript.

Another acceleration platform, namely, CUDA is a vendor-lock and currently is not wide-spread at all.

So the question is, what are the plans, if any, of using hardware/GPU acceleration in OpenCV for mobile devices.

I didn't find clear answers in roadmap and forums, hope somebody can give one here.
