@berak - I am closing the question. See edit. Bug somehow gone. By the way, is answers.opencv.org official place for filing OpenCV bugs?

2014-09-25 02:36:19 -0500 asked a question Rect constructor

Are these two constructors equivalent? I am having exception error with 1st one, but 2nd works ok.

// pt - Point
// mt - Mat
Rect  rect(pt,mt.size());
Rect  rect(pt,Point(pt.x+mt.cols, pt.y + mt.rows));

I am going to file OpenCV bug if they should be equivlent

Answer to Berak question:

Opencv 2.4.9
Linux
Exact code:

When I started to write minimal complete example of this, bug somehow disappeared. I could not reproduce it. Thanks Berak. I will close this question.

2014-09-24 11:11:14 -0500 answered a question What is the most effective way to access cv::Mat elements in a loop?

You probably will get x10 speedup by switching order of your for loops. First loop rows, than (inner) loop columns.
