2012-11-09 07:29:23 -0600 | asked a question | capture hdmi 1080i hello, i have been using webcams and usb SD video input cards in my opecv projects. Now i want to analyse a HDMI 1080i video input on a PC (Windows). What kind of hardware would you suggest ? i need to grab the frames in HD but i dont need to record directly in H264 (what most cards seem to offers) i have seen products from AverMedia (http://solutions.avermedia.com/en/products/capture-cards/hd) that seems fine, but they do not seem easy to buy. Besides i've seen price ranges of about 250 EUR that sound a bit expensive to me. i believe capturing video content with HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) does not apply for my project, but i am not 100% sure. Would you suggest some card (either PCI or USB) please ? regards alex |
