OpenCV Installation: Debian

I'm working on the latest Installation in Linux tutorial by Ana Huaman from OpenCV documentation

I've already performed the following

From the Development/OpenCV/ base directory on my system - sudo apt-get install build-install - mkdir Source - cd Source - git clone (Completes without issues) - cd .. - mkdir Release - cd Release - cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RELEASE -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local ../Source Completes, appears to work as far as I'm aware - sudo make install Works fine until a failure with the following:

[ 21%] Building CXX object modules/imgproc/CMakeFiles/opencv_imgproc.dir/opencl_kernels_imgproc.cpp.o Linking CXX shared library ../../lib/ /usr/bin/ld: /home/aegis/Development/OpenCV/Source/3rdparty/ippicv/unpack/ippicv_lnx/lib/ia32/libippicv.a(jmp_ippiResizeGetBufferSize_16s_as.s.o): relocation R_386_GOTOFF against undefined symbol `ippicvJumpIndexForMergedLibs' can not be used when making a shared object /usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Bad value collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: * [lib/] Error 1 make[1]: [modules/imgproc/CMakeFiles/opencv_imgproc.dir/all] Error 2 make: ** [all] Error 2

Any ideas for how I can move forward from here?
