Shape representation as curve

hi,

http://s7.postimg.org/jwyv84pe3/curve.png

as seen on the image, i need to represent my hand shape as a time series curve, is there any available method that can provide me that easily.

PS: the start point of this curve is determined by RANSAC. thanks for any comment and suggests..

as seen on the image, i need to represent my hand shape as a time series curve, is there any available method that can provide me that easily.

PS: EDIT : time-series representation, the start point of this curve is determined by RANSAC. thanks for any comment and suggests.. EDIT : The angle is denotes horizontal axis denotes the angle between each contour vertex and the initial point relative relative to the center point, normalized by 360degrees360 . The vertical axis denotes the Euclidean distance between the contour vertices and the center point, normalized by the radius of the maximal inscribed circle.
