What is a good way to remove long skinny black lines from an image? For example https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83030212/1841-04-10/ed-1/seq-2/ has long skinny black lines separating the newspaper columns. I would like to remove them, but try and leave the text intact as much as possible.
