I would like to know if its possible to build drivers to make depth sensors compatible with OPENNI. Where should I look for this type of information?
Can I make ANY depth sensor to be compatible with OPENNI if I produce the right driver?
A client is requesting a design using a camera from Chinese company called Rakinda, the M5 TOF Depth Module. And the information I'm seeing is that they don't mention OPENNI anywhere.
For the record, I want to make my life easier and try something like the Terabee TOF modules which seem pretty cool and accessible and far as I know, these are OPENNI ready.
