I am trying to understand the basic concepts behinds the opencv fisheye implementation, not what they do, but why their are implemented as they are, e.g. any papers, books or link explaining these functions would be helpfull:

• initUndistortRectifyMap
• undistortPoints
• calibrate
• estimateNewCameraMatrixForUndistortRectify
