I just forked on github and cloned with VS2018 enterprise. It seems many solutions contain files that throw version incompatibility errors, or throw version incompatibility errors themselves. Is VS development at all supported? If so, how are these errors generally resolved?

EDIT: The default VS update procedure does not seem to be often successful, but I've only looked at a couple of files.
