Is it sufficient just using one image to calibrate a camera with good initialization known?

Hi, I have a question for camera calibration. If I have some way to get very good initialization for both intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of the camera, is it OK just using one image for the optimizer to refine these parameters? As I know If the plate orientation is parallel to the camera image plane, I think it is not OK. But if there are some angle between them, is it OK?

Thanks in advance!
