I would like to find a non-textured target in an image like in this question. The answer in this link recommends an feature-matching approach. I like to give this a try, but to be honest, I don't have any experiences about the diffent Features2D in openCV.

I hope this question isn't too general because I don't have any images of possibly objects yet, but does anybody have an idea what would be an good feature/descriptor combination for untextured objects?
