I tried to use dpm with dog.xml, under opencv3 but it's so slow it's not usable. It did say no opennM or tbb detected, so not sure if my laptop has that or if i have to recompile opencv for it.

Does anyone get more then 2-5fps ? Should i recompile with TBB support (why is this not enabled by default if it's good?). *argh i just noticed TBB is GPL (well dual-licensed but i'm sure it's expensive). Scratch TBB.

yea, true, it's slow as molasses.

just curious, did you get any decent results from the detection, though ?

Well it seemed to detect my own face, so I didn't even bother doing it on my dog 😄

Whatever tests I would have liked to do I would not be able to interpret properly because of the low frame rate.
