SIFT support for Opencv4Android

Hi

I am an Android/Opencv newbie, I wanted to use SIFT in my Android project (created with Eclipse), But I don't really know how to install opencv_contrib. Is there a tutorial I can follow that could help me achieve this ? If not is there an free alternative to SIFT ?
