Hi,

I am thinking what is possible when it comes to 3D reconstruction from two photos taken from different point of view. I have read that it is possible to create depth map but only depth map?

I would like to create model of a room and I consider how to do it. I know that it is not easy but please give me a vector.

To sum up: 1. What is possible having to photos? 2. How much photos I need to create a better model?

Thanks in advance.

I do not know what you have read and I do not really understand what you are really asking, but I think this may help you understand what you can do fro 2 photos (aka stereo photos) But if you have more images you can do something more real, for sure.

2 photos for a single 3D model of a room? Forget it. Depth map can be done using stereo vision, for a complete map, you will need a whole set of images and do something called structure from motion.
