How to save captured video in java

' VideoWriter' is not supported in java ... if so how to store the video captured through 'videoCapture' ???

it is supported in latest opencv3 (from github src)

The latest version on github is the release of 3.0.0 and that doesn't have VideoWriter component. Is there a particular tag or branch where the VideoWriter is present?
