Template matching example not working as expected

Hi! I have followed the template matching tutorial from here and the resulting match does not correspond with the expected results at all. I downloaded both images (the original and template) from that page too.

Any ideas of what is happenig???

i'm seeing different results from the tutorial with 3.0, too.

It seems like the results showed in the tutorial are not correlated with the template image. The template image have a very poor quality. If I crop by my hand the face template from the original image, results are the expected. Thanks again for your help!
