How to install OpenCV Version 2.4.11 on Windows System

Hello...

I have downloaded OpenCV Version 2.4.11 from SourceForge and but I have user manual to install v2.1 on windows. Can you please help me, how to install V2.4.11 and then how to interface/ link with DevCpp compiler.

if you want to use mingw as a compiler, you will first have to build the opencv libs for that (using cmake).
