Hello folks.

After collecting data , by measuring angles and lengths of branches of some plants (15), i represented them with L-system fractals method. The image i took from the L-system looks like these:

image description Plant A

image description Plant B

image description Plant C

So i tried to show the difference of these plants by counting the % of covering area. But i think that i should try also and a method of a similarity index. The think is that there are too many protocols and algorithms out there and i have no idea which one to choose for my situation. It's the first time that i 'm working on something like and a friend of my, told me to look the opencv project. Os i would like to know your opinion.

Is it possible to say for example that the plant B is more similar to C than to A ?

Thank you.
