I am quite new to Computer Vision and thus OpenCV. I find myself lost trying to figure out the complex math that goes into many functions. Is there any place that I can start learning? Can anyone suggest any topics of math that I can start off on?

Thank you

It depends, if you really want to learn math skills, than for computer vision theory you will need any course on statistics and probability theory, which is the basics of any CV problem. If you want to dig deeper into computer vision itself, and if you are going to use OpenCV, then why not start with the huge list of OpenCV based books?

This page can also be a good starting point.

Well, for now I want to learn and use OpenCV, as well as learn the math. Thanks for the links! I'll look into them.
