find tip of pen using opencv

hi, I want to find the tip of pen in opencv. I have no idea how can i find it. please can any one suggest me.

This is not a pen... And how do your images look like? Finding it on the last image is rather easy, but I guess you want to track it while used and then you will have a completely different background.
