Did you plan to publish a WORKING step by step instruction for installation on Windows ? At this time I find my self (and many other user) going around the web to get little pieces of installation steps (one for the 'right' mode to set path, one which 'discover' where really bins are, etc). This is very frustrathing and go to no where ....

Reading the documentation make me think 'ok, this is the kind of project I'll like donate to', but if cannot use due to lack of installation info, I'll never be able to partecipate.

I replied to another thread "How to install OpenCV under Windows" how I did it. I am not sure if it will be ok to post the same answer to another thread so you could check that answer out, see if it works for you.

Hi Niten! I made instructions for installing on Windows: http://devel-open.blogspot.com.ar/2012/08/opencv-sobre-windows.html

But there are a lot of working tutorials! Like this one: http://docs.opencv.org/doc/tutorials/introduction/linux_eclipse/linux_eclipse.html

I hope it help you!

He asked for a guide for installation on Windows. Besides that your blog post is in Spanish.

I think Spanish is not a problem, and this post is a guide!

There is actually a guide that explains how to use the pre-built libraries. There is no installer yet and no explicit installation needed. That guide also explains how to build OpenCV from source.
