Industrial PC for OpenCV (GPU acceleration)

Hi,

We are looking for a compact industrial PC to run our vision application based on OpenCV. We would like to be able to use GPU accelerated features of OpenCV if necessary, which means having a Nvidia chip. But, as far as I know, when you are dealing with compact industrial PC you only get Intel on board GPU and no PCI Express X16 port.

Our first investigations lead us to this product.

So we wanted to know if someone here already faced this issue and if he get a decent solution.

Regards.

What about the new NVIDIA jetson? Seems exactly the embedded board you need. Only thing you need to do is make an efficient housing for it, but that is not the largest problem around.

Would a 192 cuda cores be faster than an i7 ?

I know this isnt gpu based but has 8 nic interfaces and i7 so you can have upto 8 camera inputs and was made for industrial machine vision.
