template matching

hi i need to match some binary extracted pictures which are numbers and characters from a car number plate with a template which are alphabet and numbers

i guess minMaxloc is my function but i have no idea how to do that please help me to solve this problem

i guess i have to make an array consist of my template pictures and i compare my unknown picture with the template and i set some conditions based on locations and set the letters after that
