Getting started with OpenCV and Lego Mindstorms

First off ... sorry for the noob question ... but I have searched the OpenCV forums and the Internet on this topic ... and have not found much reliable information on the topic

I am working on a project to build a Lego brick sorting machine (using Legos), that recognizes Lego bricks, and sorts them into a specific buckets

I want to use OpenCV for Windows and Lego Mindstorms (NXT 2.0 or EV3)

Can anyone here give me good references to help me get started with integrating OpenCV and Lego Mindstorms
