Getting images from Camera Link / FLIR IR camera

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with getting digital images from a FLIR Tau2 LWIR camera into a Linux environment (and into OpenCV) ? That is, without frame grabbing from analog video, and without resorting to a big PCI based digital frame grabber for the Camera Link output.

How does the camera send images? Do you have any idea about that?

The spec lists CameraLink, LVDS, CMOS and BT-656

Any luck with this? I'm also struggling get a video feed from an infra-red Camera Link camera.
