How to measure circle diameter with camera [closed]

Hello,

I have no notions in vision but a project has been given to me in which I have to measure the diameter of a circle with a camera. For this I have some data such as the focal, the format of my image and the distance between the camera and the object to measure. Do I need more data? Which program should I choose?
