Is there object matcher?

The task is simple: on frame t there are N detected objects of some type (faces, templates, whatever) coded with rects, on frame t+1 there are M detected objects. So is there function or method which allows make matches between objects? Which of them the same real object, which maybe new or diappered? Thanks!
